extFS for Mac: Can you mount a disk read-only?

I have a disk (taken out of a faulty NAS, partitioned ext4, I think) that I intend to attach to my iMac (OS X 10.9.5) as an external disk via a Digitus USB-SATA adapter. Can I mount it as read-only with extFS? If so, how do I do it?
